Why
Real Estate?
It is a good balance between my interest in working
with people, using the knowledge and experience of having
lived here for 19 years and keeping up with two college students
heavily involved in sports and drama.
Qualifications and Background:
The most important factor is
ones personal knowledge of the area. In 19 years here, I have
built three homes and purchased and sold many others and chosen
to raise my family close to the community. The majority of
my adult life has been spent in business management both as
an owner and as a consultant. After 8 years aboard a sailboat,
the arrival of our two kids brought the realization that life
would be better served out in the "country". We think we found
the best balance of small town appeal, nice people, great school
systems, local activities yet close to the "big city:. As has
been said, it is easy to sell something you really love and
I love this community.
Staying Current:
Today's world is full of educational opportunities
from the Internet to seminars. Besides a healthy involvement
with these I find an ongoing dialog with other agents and real
estate professionals to be invaluable to brainstorm actions,
transactions and properties.
Awards:
I have received the coveted Top Sales Agent award (given monthly) and the First in Service award. Most recently I have received the Top Selling Agent Award for January 2007. The First in Service award honors those sales agents that exemplify not only knowledge and professionalism, but to honor those that go beyond the normal standard of care expected for a Realtor. I have achieved the Sterling Society level within Coldwell Banker National. My proudest awards is from our office staff, for Staff Appreciation. It is working with your family of agents and staff that makes work, production and success all seem very simple and pleasurable.
Community Projects:
Founding member and Past Secretary of Gold
Country Kiwanis, Minister of the Inter-Faith Circle and a growing
number of school projects that never seem to end.
When not doing Real Estate:
Kids Kids Kids, sailing, reading,
writing, counseling and working on that dream of a hammock
between two palm trees on Matei Point on Taveuni Island, Fiji.
I have recently relocated to our South County office in an effort to expand my territory of expertise. Though I will continue to serve my clients in and around Nevada City and Grass Valley from the Grass Valley office, I will be based and focus on my new territory in and around Lake of the Pines and north to Nevada City. Please drop by and visit my new office very soon.
Let me know how I can better serve your real estate needs and
assist you in finding just the right property in our beautiful
